The Standard Mark for each management systems certification which ra operates is notified in the official Gazette.

The use of the license(s) and its related Standard Mark(s) is/are carefully controlled. Licensee is clearly instructed and monitored regarding use and display of the License(s) and the Standard Mark(s) as well as the penalties to be imposed for misuse. The Standard Mark(s) shall not be used on a product including laboratory test, calibration or inspection report, or in a way that may be interpreted as denoting product conformity.

As specified by the ra, penalties are imposed on those who abuse or misuse the License(s) or the Standard Mark(s). Complaints by members of the public and industry and commerce are encouraged and regularly reviewed to identify preventive measures regarding abuse or misuse of the License(s) or the Standard Mark(s).

The mark of accreditation body is to be used only in relation to the scope sectors for which the management systems certification scheme of ra is accredited.

ra maintains and make publicly accessible on its website a directory of valid certifications which show the name, relevant normative document, scope and geographical location (e.g. city and country) for each certified client (or the geographic location of the headquarters and any sites within the scope of a multi-site certification).

The Client, in accordance with obtaining certification is to is required to:

  1. Conform to the requirements of ra when making reference to its certification status in communication media such as the internet, brochures or advertising, or other documents;
  2. Does not make or permit any misleading statement regarding its certification;
  3. Does not use or permit the use of a certification document or any part thereof in a misleading manner;
  4. Upon withdrawal of its certification, discontinues its use of all advertising matter that contains a reference to certification, as directed by ra
  5. Amends all advertising matter when the scope of certification has been reduced;
  6. Does not allow reference to its management system certification to be used in such a way as to imply that ra certifies a product (including service) or process;
  7. Does not imply that the certification applies to activities and sites that are outside the scope of certification;
  8. Does not use its certification in such a manner that would bring ra and/or certification system into disrepute and lose public trust.
