- The Standard Mark for each management systems certification which ra operates is notified via email.
- The use of the license(s) and its related Standard Mark(s) is/are carefully controlled. Licensee is clearly instructed and monitored regarding the use and display of the License(s) and the Standard Mark(s) as well as the penalties to be imposed for misuse. The Standard Mark(s) shall not be used on a product including laboratory test, calibration, or inspection report, or in a way that may be interpreted as denoting product conformity.
- As specified by the Risk Associates, penalties are imposed on those who abuse or misuse the License(s) or the Standard Mark(s). Complaints by members of the public and industry and commerce are encouraged and regularly reviewed to identify preventive measures regarding abuse or misuse of the License(s) or the Standard Mark(s).
- The mark of the accreditation body is to be used only in relation to the scope sectors for which the management systems certification scheme of ra is accredited.
- Risk Associates maintains and makes publicly accessible on its website a directory of valid certifications which show the name, relevant normative document, scope, and geographical location (e.g. city and country) for each certified client (or the geographic location of the headquarters and any sites within the scope of a multi-site certification).

- The certification mark cannot be modified.
- The certificate number (RA-XXXXXX) must be displayed along with the logo.
Using UK National Accreditation Body symbol.
Our clients may reference our accreditation body symbol if they wish to, however, they must comply to the requirements outlined by UKAS in their Accreditation Logo and Symbols Guidance document published in February 2024 or other related documents published after the year 2024.
The guide states in Appendix B – clause B1.2 that the certified client may use the national accreditation symbol, but it shall always be used in conjunction with the logo/mark of the certification body or certification scheme – see the example below
